By using the services provided by GTA Keys (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers and users of our website, mobile application, and any services provided by GTA Keys. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking or using our services. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use our services.
GTA Keys offers locksmith services including, but not limited to, lock installation, repair, key replacement, lockouts, emergency unlocking, and automotive locksmith services across the Greater Toronto Area. All services are subject to the availability of our technicians and may be subject to a minimum service fee.
A non-refundable $40 service fee (also known as a booking fee) applies to all service bookings made with GTA Keys. This fee covers the cost of our technician traveling to your location, regardless of whether the service is ultimately completed. The service fee is charged when an appointment is confirmed and will be included in the total service cost if the service is completed.
If you choose to cancel the service after our technician has arrived at the location or if we are unable to complete the service due to customer unavailability or incorrect information provided by the customer, the service fee will still apply.
The total cost of services will include the $40 service fee along with any additional charges for labor, parts, or materials used in the completion of the service. All pricing will be provided in advance, and we strive to be fully transparent with our customers about all costs. Payments are due upon the completion of services, and we accept cash, credit cards, and electronic payment methods.
You may cancel or reschedule your booking at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time by contacting our customer support team. However, if the technician has already been dispatched to your location, the $40 service fee will still apply. Refunds will not be provided for completed services or for cancellations after the technician has arrived.
If, for any reason, we are unable to complete the service due to our own fault (e.g., unavailable technician or lack of equipment), we will waive the service fee.
While we strive to provide high-quality locksmith services, GTA Keys is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from the use of our services, including but not limited to damages to property, loss of profits, or loss of use.
In the event that damages occur as a direct result of our technician’s actions, our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged item. GTA Keys reserves the right to determine whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
GTA Keys provides a limited warranty on the labor provided during service for a period of 30 days from the date of service. This warranty covers only defects in workmanship and does not apply to materials or parts used during service, which may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties.
This warranty is voided if there is any tampering, misuse, or unauthorized repair of the lock or system after our services have been rendered.
By using our services, you agree to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We collect and store your information for the purpose of providing you with services, scheduling appointments, and improving our offerings. We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
GTA Keys will not be liable for any delays, failures, or damages arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, equipment failures, or transportation delays.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
GTA Keys reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website or mobile application. It is the responsibility of the customer to review these terms regularly. Your continued use of our services following any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
